Jim Carrey’s off focus Tweet appears more of a blame game
The once famous Star of yesterday years goes on Twitter to vent his vendetta of displeasure in isolating and holding the US, president for the
the mosque killings in Christchurch, New Zealand. In his own words he states the following,
“Innocent people are now being slaughtered, families ruined and childrens’ lives destroyed. All in his name.” When the world has coherently condemned the killings, the much needed question to ask here would be, was it really necessary to come up with a tweet such as this, aimed solely as mechanism to launch individualistic self interests.
It has all been hard for all, specially when innocent lives are lost for apparent no fault of their own but given the sensitivity and the graveness of the situation existing, all responsible individuals should work for peace and avoid capitalizing the situation for self gain or reentry.
It is a universal fact that the US president has opposed and condemned all forms of terrorism and acts of violence against all humanity and more so has never supported skewed ideologies.
It is even more hurtful to see, individuals like Jim Carrey playing the blaming game, instead of finding ways to ensure sure acts of violence do not repeat itself.
