Education is for the Rich? This has been the time immemorial fact that has been practiced since the dawning of the human civilization. It is a hard truth and the most acceptable one.
In the ancient days, the profession of a child is decided by the family into which he or she was born into. If the father was a mason, the child ought to take up this trade. If the father was a farmer then it has to be farming. If the father was a blacksmith then the child should be a blacksmith. Literally there were no options or opportunities for the child to break free.
A brief glance at history would tell you this, take a look at all great philosophers and contributors, they were all from great affluent families. Now, look at inventors and great contributors today, all with a few exceptions here and there are from affluent families.
Look at the education system, if you want your son or your daughter to obtain quality education then you ought to send them to high end schools and just observe the fee structures. You will understand talent, intelligence and hard work all means nothing. The herculean fees that some of these schools charge will be beyond the wildest dreams of mere mortals.

Dozens of people have been accused of taking part in a $25-million bribery scheme in which parents allegedly paid to ensure their children’s enrolment in elite schools. This just goes out to show that the best services are available to the best available buyer
Among the parents charged are Vancouver businessman David Sidoo, who has pleaded not guilty, and TV actresses Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin.
The much needed question now to be answered would be, will all these change? There is no point in accusing affluent parents for their actions, but reforms ought to be put in place starting at grass root levels.
