The match between Denis and Roger were one sided from the very first serve. Federer, took the game with his ace skill, leaving no time for recovery for the Canadian, Denis Shapovalov.
Federer, at 37, is still going strong and is all geared up to meet John Isner in the finals. If Federer could pull this off, which we hope he does, it would add up to his 101 trophy wins.
The match seemed more like a trainer handing out a lesson or two. But no worries, still Denis Shapovalov kept his cool and took it as a learning experience.
The best way would be to accept one’s weaknesses and move on to develop the skill needed to face men of Roger Federer’s substance. And that is waht Denis Shapovalov did.
It was always a joy to watch Roger play and he never left any stone unturned in all these years, that is to entertain the fans with his ace game.
