Dildo and the dangers associated with its use
The Prelude
If you have no intention of getting yourself a Man and if you don’t care about your brain prematurely aging and if you don’t care about the onset diseases like Asthma, Pneumonia, Diabetes or suffering from Cancer, which can vary from Cervical to the Cancer of the Uterus and Anus. plus not to mention the psychological effects associated, then go ahead and spend your hard earned buck on sex toys.
What they don’t tell you
The mainstream and the pop culture will never tell you the dangerous associated with the use of these toys, to be specific, sex toys.
Apparently they were rightly named toys, do you know why? You ought to grow out of them. In other words, as in the case of a child, with the dawning of knowledge, toys are cast into the bin, so should you, with these sex toys.
Sex toys are not Regulated
Of the several dangerous associated with the usage of sex toys, this would alarm you most, which is, Sex toy manufacture is not regulated by law.
That would mean, you have no idea as to what you are getting for the money that you are paying.
What Sex toys are made up of
Most Sex toys are made from the Jelly Plastic material mainly to ensure, flexibility and durability. Now the flexibility that you see in these sex toys doesn’t come that easy.
It involves support from a group of Chemicals called as Phthalates. The problem here is that most of us do not really know what Phthalates are and more so haven’t given a thought to the dangerous that they can cause to Humans.
It is said, if you think Education is expensive then try Ignorance. The truth of the matter is, though they also say that, Ignorance is bliss, but the only problem here would be, the bliss is short lived and the aftereffects are untold misery and suffering that words cannot explain.
Dangers of Phthalates
So by know you should have know that Phthalates are a group of chemicals used to soften and improve the flexibility and durability of plastics.
But what you did not know is that, Phthalates are Endocrine disruptors, and even a slightest exposure to phthalates can wreck your body havoc.
Specially, use of Phthalates or even Exposure to Phthalates, has been linked to breast cancer, Pregnancy issues, fertility issues, obesity and above all onset of Asthma.
Compounds that cause the most damage
- The worst form of Phthalates are Benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP) and Dibutyl phthalate (DBP).
- BBP and DBP have been shown to cause cell proliferation, aid in the formation of tumors and breast cancer cells.
- High levels of Diethyl phthalate (DEP) have been associated with Erectile dysfunction in men.
- High levels of DEP and DBP have been linked to serious lack of sex drive among women
- High levels of DEP and DBP have been linked infertility in women.
- Exposure to dimethyl phthalate (DMP) has been associated with early breast development among girls and increased risk of developing breast cancer later in life.
- DBP, BBP, and DEHP, has been shown to cause physical abnormalities in boys, undescended testes, reduced size of testes, reduction in the distance between the anus and genitals, abnormalities in fetal development and sex differentiation characteristics.
- High levels of DEP and DBP have been linked in boys behaving more often as girls, which involves cross dressing and subsequent desire to act, talk, and behave as a girl.
- Phthalate exposure is also associated with high incidence of diabetes among females
- High levels of DEP and DBP have been linked to the onset of Asthma
- High levels of DEP and DBP have been linked to pneumonia and lung related disorders
- High levels of DEP and DBP have been linked with Obesity.
How Phthalates affect the female-male body
The problem with the use of Phthalates is that they could be easily absorbed by the skin and subsequently enter the blood stream. Now this can really be dangerous.
For when these toxins reach the kidneys, there is no way for the kidneys to rid them out of the body, more so, the situation would be even more dreadful, if they were to reach the lungs.
Now this is just one side of the story. Now studies have shown, the Vagina that is frequently exposed to sex toys will hold trace levels of Phthalates in and around the genital area. Which would mean, any future sexual encounter with a Male, will put the male at a greater danger.
Why all Dildos have Phthalates?
It was said that women of the stone ages used Dildos made out of cone shaped stones, and on account of that, their Vaginal opening widened so much that a Man’s head could enter.
More so, given the nature of man’s DNA, the general preferential treatment depended on the Vaginal opening’s width. A recent study conducted reveals a correlation between Infidelity and Vaginal opening.
With 93% of men reporting that the main reason for their extra marital affair was displeasure during sex, largely attributed to widened Vaginal openings.
Victorian Era-Dildo
Now during the Victorian era, Dildos were made out of animal bones and Ivory. Now, the Royals could afford so they bought the Ivory Dildos, but those of the middle tiers, could afford only the one made of bone and thus used them.
Now with regard to the Dildos made out of bones, there were problems of some wear and tear, and more so, the tiny pores on the bones accumulated Vaginal fluids which often emanated foul odor and at times raised questions among the inquisitive Male counterpart, looking to locate the smell origin.
If the Dildo was located, one of the two things always happened, the first one would be to shame the person in public, and the second one would be, separation followed by possible humiliation.
In either case, use of Dildo among the middle class was considered more often a dangerous indulgence with hidden fears of being exposed.
Now with the advent of the 21st century things began to change and the internet had made everything shameless.
The need to bring out a Dildo, that would flex and dance to the tune of the beholder was required. Thus the birth of Dildos made of Plastic Jelly were born.
The only difference being, to ensure maximum flexibility, the Plastic needed to contain a very Toxic chemical called Phthalates. For without the Phthalates, the Dildo would not be able to hit the G-spot. G-spot stimulation, among the many sex stimulating points, is considered the Kilimanjaro of sex acts that a woman desires, anticipates and longs for.
How dangerous can a Dildo be for a Man
Now during oral sex, if the aroused male happens to lick and suck the vagina, then he would ingest Phthalates along with the vaginal fluid unaware.
Just as in the case of any ingested poison gets absorbed through the cells along the major pathway, which would be the Tongue and the Throat, so would be the case with regard to ingesting, Phthalates.
Alarming studies have shown a correlation between engaging in Oral sex with women who frequently use dildos and tongue cancer among men.
Dildo and Prostrate issues
Now, upon intercourse, trace Phthalates can adhere to the male Penis resulting in entering the prostrate region through the Penis head, which can result in Penile dysfunction and infertility and Prostrate cancer.
The problem does not stop there, if the infected male, goes on to have sex with another innocent woman, and insist that she gives him an Oral blow job, then he is passing on the Phthalates to the innocent victim.
Just as in the case of a STD or an HIV infected person, the severity and that damage is equally disdainful and cannot be comprehended to naive mind.
Do you know, most Dildos contain pubic hair and vaginal fluids
Since Manufacture of Dildo is almost an unregulated market the alarming fact is that the probability of you buying a reconditioned Dildo is almost 1.
That would mean, in most cases your current Dildo would have been a favorite toy of someone else on the other side of the globe.
Now, that scenario opens up a pandemonium of issues with regard to Sexually transmitted diseases, which is no respecter of Race, Color, Sex, Creed, or even Boundaries.
In other words, on one side, you are not sure what you are getting for your monies worth, and on the other side, you are paying for your future pain, that you will ought to undergo in form of STD treatments and the pain induced by high antiviral drug intake.
The reason being when using penetrative sex toy, more so, a Dildo that has body fluids on it, puts the user in the risk of contracting either one or more than one of the following STD, including Trichomoniasis, genital herpes, human papillomavirus and HIV.
Dildos which were used in digital-vaginal contact or digital-anal contact, can particularly be risky for they are the effective medium to transfer Cervicovaginal secretions.
The question you should be asking is, is it worth it?
