An Egg a day will keep you away from Doctors
If there was one industry which badly took the beating due to a Pseudo dietary claims of the 20th and the 21st Century, then it was the Egg industry.
Overnight, business involved in the Egg industry went bankrupt, because of a claim that consumption of Eggs increased the risk of Coronary Heart diseases.
The Study carried out was among 30,000 or so men, and the conclusion cited were that, consuming Eggs increased the daily cholesterol levels to 300 mg and that in turn increased the heart diseases risk by 17%.
There were no scrutiny, no verificationse carried out, no request for further information and overnight TV commercials and Talk shows were geared at discouraging Egg consumption.
All within a matter of few months, Egg sales dwindled world over and the craze of the High Carb diet took hold.
Now it was just Cereals, and Cereals and more Cereals.
In short, you were lied when they said that Consuming Eggs increased LDL[bad cholesterol], further more, the data used were all flawed and represented in the manner that would alarm every lay men and women.
All of these claims could have been nullified if only the Real truth of Body were known then.
Do you know the Human body makes and produces approximately 3000+milligrams of Cholesterol a day which would be the equivalent of consuming around 42 + eggs a day.
3000 mg, a day being produced, yes, you read it right, when a huge fuss was made about merely consuming 300 mg and which ended the livelihood of millions around the world then.
That is the power of data representation. Even the most sane person can be portrayed as a villain and crucified.
Validation and Proof
A study was conducted consisting of 31 men, between the age group of 40-70 years. Each of them was given 3 whole eggs a day.
The nutrient composition of 3 Eggs were equivalent to 1.76 g of carbohydrates, 18.95 g protein and 22.99 g fat.
Blood samples were collected at the end of week 6 and week 12. The samples revealed that there was no increase in LDL [The bad Cholesterol] but the Dietary Cholesterol from Eggs did increase HDL [Good Cholesterol] levels in the Body.
It is important to understand that the Human Body requires HDL to carry out innumerable body functions.
Finally Vindicated
The only calming factor would be the verification provided by Science after decades of disbelief and hate. Though the news is late for those countless or odd people who lost their earnings and their livelihood, better still, at least the records on Eggs stand cleared. Received Report.
