Reagan’s daughter says he’d be ‘heartbroken’ over America
It would have been much better if Patti Davis would have restricted her discussion to just the Reagan’s era but she did not and wasted no time in spewing, what is considered as a personal attack on the President Trump. Davis said: “There’s no resemblance to the Republican Party of my father’s time.”
While Davis continues on to on with her blame game as always, blaming the Republicans’ complicity for the current state of American politics, and more so singling out President Trump, whom she believes is endangering American democracy. In her words, Davis said:
“He talks like an autocrat,” “He befriends autocrats. He supports autocrats. He believes them. He wants to be one.”
Any ardent lover of the land would know that this is not true and that the President is the voice of America, the guardian of democracy and the beacon of Truth and Security for all who believe in Liberty and Equality.
It is imperative to understand here that Patti Davis was an ardent critique of the former President Reagan and was very vocal in expressing her opposition in several instances and most of the times the relationship cannot be considered constructively amicable.
Hence for Davis to make a statement such as this, is a mere insinuation as to what she presumes and expects the state of affairs to be and function. Given the past reputation of Patti Davis , it is the generally accepted opinion among everyone that her continued war of words against President Trump is an cheap attempt to get publicity
